Shopping facilities in the greater area of Washington, D.C.

Potomac Mills (apparently the biggest mall in the area of DC)
Arundel Mills (very good mall in the direction of Baltimore)
Leesburg Factory Outlet Mall (Factory outlet; there is no cheaper option, only limited supply)
Safeway (pharmacy and supermarket with several branches in DC and Arlington)
Giant (pharmacy and supermarket with several branches in DC and Arlington)
WholeFoods (there are always samplers)
Aldi (almost as in Germany; basics are cheap, the drive is worth)
Shoppers (very practically situated on the way to the NCAC, cheap and large selection)
Costco (membership required, about $100 per year, but cheap and more than just foods)
